The places and sites of activities will be communicated shortly.<\/p><div><p>On Wednesday, April 27<sup>th<\/sup>, the results of the noise monitoring that is being carried out since 2020 will be presented, analyzing the noise levels in all phases of closing\/opening of activities during the COVID pandemic, and the importance of having Sundays with no car circulation, because a healthy soundscape was recorded during the quarantine, and this information will be useful to implement a public policy by the municipalities, to establish &#8216;A day with no car&#8217;.<\/p><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Activities related to INAD-2022<\/strong><\/h3><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Acoustics is not just \u2018about measuring noise\u2019<\/strong><\/h3><p>During this year 2022 INPAVAC will hold a series of posthumous tributes to Peruvian first acousticians, and within the activities of the International Noise Awareness Day, the work of two key architects of the 20th century Modernist movement who were also dedicated to acoustics will be remembered:<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/inpacta.org\/inpavac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/miroquesada-inpavac.jpg\" alt=\"cartucho miroquesada\" width=\"258\" height=\"204\" \/><\/p><p>Arch. Luis Cartucho&#8217;Mir\u00f3 Quesada Graland (1914-1994), is one of the architects of Modernism in Lima. He is the first Peruvian to occupy an international Chair in 1968 as an acoustician in the <em>Latin American Acousticians Group<\/em> (GALA).<\/p><\/div><div><p style=\"text-align: right;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/inpacta.org\/inpavac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Wakeham-inpavac.jpg\" alt=\"Wakeham Dasso\" width=\"225\" height=\"285\" \/>Arch. Roberto S. Wakeham Dasso (1920-1986), was a Le Corbusier\u2019s collaborator; he stands out as the first Peruvian who was dedicated to the acoustics of churches, he was the one who conducted an acoustic study of the Lima Theater in 1970, and the acoustic design of the Auditorium of the Santa Ursula School in 1965.<\/p><\/div><p>The locations and sites of the activities of these tributes will be communicated shortly.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7bd11aa elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"7bd11aa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0ab7ef1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0ab7ef1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Luigi Russolo\u2019s<em> Intonarumori<\/em>:<\/strong><\/h3><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The soundscape of the modern city<\/strong><\/h3><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/inpacta.org\/inpavac\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Russolo-inpavac.jpg\" alt=\"Russolo\" width=\"239\" height=\"298\" \/>The Italian artist Luigi Russolo (1885-1947), who invented the <em>Intonarumori<\/em>, a musical instrument that mechanically produced sounds that \u2018imitated\u2019 the city noises, will be recognized.
