EXTRA-CURRICULAR VIRTUAL COURSES IN ACOUSTICS
Virtual Course Mode
- In the framework of the International Year of Sound IYS2020+, the Peruvian Institute of Acoustics launches the first regional virtual course in acoustics, to link in different academic days; people interested in acoustics with teachers and researchers, and thus propagate the importance of sound in all aspects of life.
- The negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic do not permit the normal realization of specialization and/or updating courses in acoustics.
- Taking advantage of the popularization of the use of digital platforms for teaching, a theoretical acoustics course was designed with home practice assisted by professors.
- The course will be taught by Ibero-American professors (taking into account gender-parity), who are professionals and researchers in different branches of acoustics from Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Spain and Uruguay.
- The course is designed to be completed in 10 classes on Saturdays between October and December, and will have the following structure:
