The Acoustical and Vibroacoustical Institute of Peru (INPAVAC) will publish a scientific publication biannually that will be titled as Taki kapchiy, which in Quechua means It is an art form that uses sound, a delight for the heart and for the ear. It is also a way of expressing what the artist thinks and has in his feelings; this Quechua phrase was chosen because in two words it summarizes part of psychoacoustics, linking art and sound with the senses.

Taki kapchiy will disseminate technological, academic and scientific advances in acoustics in Peru, and will encourage students, professors or anyone to produce reading material of interest to acoustics, and that the content of their articles will be peer-reviewed to ensure its scientific content.

Taki kapchiy will have a Scientific Committee that will be formed by a group of distinguished academics of recognized acousticians in Latin America, who will be the referees that will evaluate the scientific content and verify that there is no plagiarism.

Taki kapchiy will be identified as a scientific publication both nationally and internationally (such as the Scopus system), and will have its own Digital Object Identifier (DOI), so that it can be quickly indexed.
