INPAVAC

The Acoustical and Vibroacoustical Institute of Peru (INPAVAC) was created at the end of 2019, with a democratic, equality and participatory concept, which groups and brings together people and professionals from different disciplines that are directly linked to acoustics or transversely with acoustics as one of its axes.

For this year 2021 all its efforts will be focused on the spreading of the activities of the International Year of Sound IYS2020+, together with other acoustical societies and associations around the world, to raise awareness of the importance of preserving a healthy sound environment, and the problem of noise pollution.

INPAVAC is currently working on the construction of an Acoustics Laboratory for the Transfer, which will have the appropriate building facilities to perform and practice tests on materials, elements and devices, to determine their insulation, sound quality, sound reduction, sound emissions, specialized measurements, etc.
